JUDITH ANN (nee Lang) SAUVAGEAU September 1, 1935 April 1, 2012 Judy passed away in her sleep at Pioneer Village in Regina, at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Birdie and George; and brothers Denny and Jack. Judy is survived by her husband Jim of Lac Masson, QC; her sisters-in-law Bette and Margaret; as well as nieces and nephews. She was born in Indian Head, SK and relished her summers at the Katepwa Lake family cottage. There, she excelled at swimming and other water sports. Judy continued to enjoy these activities well into her adult life, even taking scuba diving lessons. After schooling in her home town, she turned her sights to nursing, graduating in 1957 as a registered nurse from the Regina General Hospital School of Nursing. Her ultimate career path was in nursing education, completing a B.SC.N. degree at the U. of S. Judy was a nursing instructor at Regina General Hospital, then moved with the program to the Wascana Institute, where she played an integral part in the careers of over a thousand future nurses. A highlight of Judys young life was upon graduating from the RGH, she, along with some other grads, embarked on a six month tour of Europe. On July 3, 1971, in Indian Head, she married Jim Sauvageau. She and Jim enjoyed RVing all over North America. In her spare time, she became an accomplished artist. Judy also looked forward to her regular Bridge gatherings with her nursing friends. A Private Reception will be held with her friends and family.
