SEVERIGHT - On Saturday, July 1, 2006 Jaret Lee Harley Severight passed away in Edmonton at the age of 29 years. Predeceased by his grandparents Alex and Elizabeth Papequash; great-grandmother Madeline Brass; infant brother Michael; grandfather, Scotty Musqua; cousins Jesse and Douglas W. Severight; uncle Floyd Musqua. Jaret is survived by his parents Caroline and Reginald Severight; children Freedom and Jordan Sowan of Edmonton; sisters, Laverne Severight of Edmonton, Regina, Angel, Chyanne of Regina; brothers Mark Severight of Regina, Greg of Edmonton, Reggie Jr., Lance Severight of Regina; grandmother Rose Musqua of Kamsack; as well as numerous uncles and aunts. Jaret was born in Kamsack, SK and was raised on Cote Reserve. In his early life the family moved to Yorkton in the early 90s. He then later moved to Edmonton where he lived till his passing. He attended St. Philips then Dr. Brass School in Yorkton and then McDougall School in Edmonton. He worked as an artist and a musician. He belonged to the I Human 2000 Art Organization in Edmonton. He enjoyed playing his guitar and taught children to play the guitar. He was a very proud father who loved his children very much. A Wake will be held on Friday, July 7th at 11:00 a.m. at The Gathering Place, 4001 - 3rd Avenue N. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at The Gathering Place, 4001 - 3rd Avenue N.
