Obituary of Marjorie Martha Genereux

MARJORIE MARTHA GENEREUX November 18, 1930 - April 2, 2012 On Monday, April 2, 2012, Mom (Granny Great) flew up to heaven on the wings of an angel? to be reunited with the love of her life, Alfred Frenchie? Genereux. Also meeting her at Heavens Gate, are her daughter Yvonne; parents Johan and Elizabeth Lesser; sisters, Rosie, Mary, Lily, Esther and Sylvia; brothers, Herman and Benny. Staying behind on earth to continue the music of her life are children, Kathy Genereux, Judy (Dwight) Punshon, Allen Genereux, Barb Stef (Kyle Kilbreath), Diane (Barney) Kozakewycz; grandchildren, Andrea, Nathan, Kyle, Adam, Heidi, Michael, Angela, Arianne, Jessiah, Michelle, Stephen and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Maya, Lucas, Piper, Lexi, Brooklyn and Aden. Also left to celebrate her life, are her sisters, Alice (Fred), Gloria (Rod), Cecelia (Neil); brother Dave (May); sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred, Sylvia, Paul, Darlene, Lil and Olive. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Darrell Reine officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 225 - 1875 Scarth Street, Regina, SK, S4P 4B3. We would like to thank the staff of the Regina EMS, Fire Department and the Pasqua Hospital Emergency Department for their competent and urgent care on Friday. Our lives are forever blessed by the dignified, respectful, and compassionate care given to our mom by the Pasqua Hospital Cardiac Surveillance Unit and in particular Christiana, Mindy and Dr. Ish Sundar.
