Obituary of William (Bill) Sachatsky

SACHATSKY - William (Bill) of Regina, SK passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 86 years of age. Predeceased by parents Andrew and Uliana; in-laws Joseph and Malanka Yaremko; daughter Iris; granddaughter Lindsay; sisters Olga and Nellie; brother Nick; and four brothers-in-law. Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Mary; son Peter (Linda); son-in-law Merv Newman; and daughter Natalie (Ken) Foster; grandchildren Kelly (Cory) Ward; Jessica Newman; Jason (Janyne) Foster; Jeremy Foster; Michelle (Dion) Pfeifer; great-grandchildren Kalem Ward; Noah and Reid Pfeifer; sisters Kay, Mary, Jenny; brothers Stafford (Joan), Mike (Amy); sisters-in-law Helen, Natalia; and numerous other relatives and friends. Bill took great pleasure in sharing his tradesman skills with others who had similar interests. His family took great pride in seeing his many innovative accomplishments, but most important was his love for all his family. He will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the CCU staff at the Regina General Hospital. Prayers will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor, 1305 - 12th Avenue. Funeral Rite will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor, 1305 - 12th Avenue, Regina with Rev. Brent Kuzyk presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
