Obituary of Regan Ken Sano

SANO - Mr. Regan Ken Sano, born June 15, 1946 in Regina passed away July 13, 2006 after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents, father Kanematsu Ken Sano in 1986, mother Fusako Florence Sano (nee Tsujimoto) in 2004; brothers Dennis Sano in 1955, Gary Kiyro Sano in 2003. Survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Debbie Sano (nee Gushulak); father-in-law Nick Gushulak; mother-in-law Yvonne Gushulak; sisters-in-law Grace (Mike) Roy, Angela (Kelso) Shaw; brothers-in-law Edward (Shelly), Andrew (Louise); fourteen nieces and nephews; sisters Joyce, Nancy Sano; brothers Robert, Glen, Brent, Brian Sano and special friend Yvonne Fournier Ross; aunt Pat Hori of Newmarket, ON, Jane Tsujimoto; uncles Eddy and Shiro Tsujimoto of Toronto, ON; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ontario and Japan. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Regina EMS, and the doctors and nurses at Regina General Hospital Emergency Department for your compassionate care of Regan. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Argyle Road Baptist Church, 3514 Argyle Road, Regina with Rev. Keith Brankston officiating. Cremation. Interment in Regina Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 (meet at cemetery gate at 4th Avenue and Scarth Street). Flowers gratefully declined.
