Obituary of Carole Joan Leland

LELAND " Carole Joan (nee Bellan), late of Regina, beloved wife of Allan Leland, passed away suddenly on December 29, 2008 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 67. Predeceased by her father Clifford Boyd; Carole is survived by her husband Al; mother Garda Boyd; children, Rick (Tammy), Dave, Judy (Jim) McLaughlin, and Lisa (Timothy Yee); brothers Les (Pat) and Keith (Bev); eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Carole attended primary and secondary school in Prince Albert, as well as business College in Regina. She commenced working as an administrative assistant at the Federated Co-op. Following her marriage to Al in Saskatoon and subsequent move to Regina, she assisted Al in operating two Texaco stations. Her last 20 working years were dedicated to the U of R Business Office. Carole loved traveling, commencing with a trip to Europe after high school, and later many family holidays. She and Al were regulars at the Field House for many years. A Celebration of Caroles Life will be held Friday, January 2, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
