Obituary of Jean Olga Furego

CLASSIFIEDS - Wednesday, February 16, 2005 FUREGO, Jean, passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday, February 12, 2005. The good Lord blessed our sister, mother, grandmother (great and greater!) with 92 years of life, love, friendship and humble service amongst us. Jean was predeceased by her mother and father; brothers Paul, Tony, Matthew and Walter; husband Paul and great grandson, Benjamin. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Louise; daughter Janet; son Gerald; grandchildren Darwin, Tracy, Holly, David and Paula and their families including twenty great-grandchildren, numerous great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many close neighbours and friends. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Pasqua Hospital as well as those who cared for her at Sunset Extendicare for all they did to make Jeans final days comfortable. Jean taught us to live life as if it were a gift to be received thankfully, and that true gratitude embraces all of life - the good and the bad, the joyful and the painful, the Holy and the not so Holy. She will live on in the memories of all who knew her. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 4:00 pm.
