Obituary of Christopher John Stewart

CHRISTOPHER JOHN STEWART It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Christopher Chris? John Stewart, age 52 years, on Friday, April 6, 2012 in a tragic car accident. Chris was born and raised on the family farm near Fort QuAppelle SK. He attended Central Collegiate and went on to study at the University of Regina and University of Saskatchewan where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Chris passion was the land. He and his father, John Stewart (now deceased), worked the soil together on the family farm for many years. The soil nurtured Chris as much as he nurtured it. Chris was the proud father of John Desnoyers-Stewart, age 24 years, who currently works as an engineer in Regina. He was the adoring father of Aaron Olivia Armstrong Stewart, soon to be 10 years of age, living, dancing and playing in Melville, SK. Chris worked at the Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation for 12 years, until his passing. He was well respected and loved by his co-workers who offered him their unerring support over the years. Chris is survived by his loving mother, Olive Stewart, his children John and Aaron, sisters Gayle Nemeth and Pamela Lansky as well as brothers-in-law Danny Nemeth, Michael Lansky and Eric Kimia. He leaves behind adoring nieces and nephews: Ryan Green, Jessica Green, Michael Nemeth, Jillian Lansky, Mandy Nemeth, Madeline Lansky and Cassidy Jo Burton Green as well as his true love Denise Dobko.
