Obituary of William Novak

NOVAK - William (Bill) passed away on February 26, 2005 at the age of 83 after a courageous battle with a terminal illness. Born 1921 in Model Farm Saskatchewan. He was a veteran of the Canadian Army during WW2 and returned to Saskatchewan where he met and married his wife of 38 years. He is predeceased by five younger siblings, parents and his infant son Barry, son Darryl, grandson Michael Belliveau and his wife Josephine. Bill is survived by his eight remaining children: Michael (Barb), Patricia (Vern Wild), Gregory (Jeanette), Brian, Gerald (Heather), Roberta (Brian Belliveau), Carmela Mario and James (Rhonda) and 21 grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his two sisters Olga Popik, Stephenia Kwasnitza and four brothers; Joseph, Gerald, Andrew and Denis. Funeral Services to be held at Good Samaritan Parish 425 Broad Street North, Regina, officiated by Rev. Ken Koep on Thursday March 3, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Interment to be held at Riverside Memorial Park. (Lunch to follow at parish hall after graveside service). Bills family also wishes to extend special thanks to all staff of Wascana Rehabilitation Center, Veterans Ward whose care was truly appreciated.
