Obituary of Davide Odorico

"Arrivederci ODORICO - Davide Odorico born September 18, 1934, passed away March 12, 2005 at the age of 70 years, with his family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Guiseppe and Doretta; brothers, Demetrio and Alicia Odorico, Paolo, Vinenzo Odorico, Augusto Ros. He is survived by his wife, Louise; brothers, Gianpietro and Guiseppe; sisters-in-law, Marcella Odorico and Teresa and Emerique Domoskos. Davide immigrated to Canada in 1956. He was a waiter at the Hotel Saskatchewan, Banff Springs Hotel, Empress Hotel at Lake Louise, Castle Harbour in Bermuda. In the 60s he was a Tile Setter, a master welder and draftsman with a number of companies. Davide was an opera enthusiast, a lover of classical music, loved soccer, botcha ball and was an avid hunter. Our gratitude to Dr. Jachak, the nurses and caregivers who all gave him great care. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 12 noon in Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street with Rev. Emmett Morrissey, Celebrant and Rev. Louis Kubash, Con-celebrant. Interment in Regina Cemetery.
