Obituary of Gordon Bartholemew Music

GORDON BARTHOLEMEW MUSIC December 16, 1923 April 7, 2012 Gordon, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7, 2012. He is survived by his son Fred (Janet) of Assiniboia, their children Ben (Barb), Mark (Kristin); daughter Joy (Bob) Macyshon of Winnipeg, MB and their children Jill (Gerard), Jody (Dean), Jennifer (Brett); son Michael (Heather) and their sons Tyler and Mitchell; sister Florence Lambrecht of Langley, BC; seven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jesse), Anthony, Jane, Cy, Veronica, Mackenzie and Brooklyn. Gordon was predeceased by his loving wife Mary (nee Popovici) in 2004; parents Louis and Rose and a brother Fred in WWII. He was a sheet metal worker, who was a partner in XL Mechanical. Gordon, his father and Art Bell installed a replacement copper dome on the Regina Legislative Building in the early 1960s. He was a lifetime member of the Victoria Club, loved to dance and was an avid bowler. Gordon enjoyed spending time helping his children with their many projects, and playing with his grandchildren. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the 4th floor staff at the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home for their care and understanding during Gordons stay.
