Obituary of Irene Mary Hopfauf

HOPFAUF, Irene passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2005. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Magdalena Jacobs; step-mother Birdie Jacobs; brother George Jacobs; husband Peter Hopfauf in 1995. Irene is survived by her loving children: Rick Hopfauf, Robin Christison, Fay (Gerry) Cousins, Kelvin (Lori) Hopfauf, Peter (Anita) Hopfauf, Susan (Perry) Kirton; grandchildren: Brent, William, Grant, Carly, Chad, Robert, Maygen, Richard, Chrissy (Kevin); brothers: Frank, Willie (Helen), Ted (Elsie) Jacobs; one sister, Alice (Glen) Hubenig; step-sister, Louise (Ike) Hornung; step-brother Ken (Helen) Fahlman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thank you to all staff at Pasqua Hospital, Allan Blair Cancer Centre and all of her former co-workers in the Radiology Department. Your care was very much appreciated. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in Little Flower R. C. Church, 420 College Avenue with Rev. Bill Mahoney, Celebrant and Rev. A. A. Vandendriessche, Concelebrant. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
