Obituary of Evelyn Elma Becker

BECKER - Evelyn E., passed away peacefully on Friday April 01, 2005 in the presence of her loving family in Regina Sask. Evelyn is survived by one brother Harold Baller and his wife Marion, her loving husband Harvey of almost 52 years, adoring sons Byron & Trent, greater family of nieces, nephews, etc., and many dear loyal friends. Evelyn was a dedicated antique researcher, appraiser and dealer operating Affinitys Antiques for many years. She made many friends with her cherished customers. She earned the love and respect of many by advising families to keep their treasures within the family rather than disposing of them. Evelyn has appeared on local television many times talking about antiques and collectables. In addition, she was involved with Scottish Country Dancing for some time. Evelyn loved to formally entertain family and friends making every occasion special. A proud Canadian, Evelyn had many relatives serve in both world wars with Jack being wounded in the first and Lloyd making the ultimate sacrifice in the second. Evelyns interests are too numerous to capture in so small a space. In lieu of flowers make donations in Evelyns memory to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, S4T 1A5. Funeral service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences to the family may be emailed to reception@speersfuneralchapel.com
