GOTTSELIG - Evelyn Lucy (Konanz) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother Evelyn Gottselig on Sunday, April 24, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Peter in 1989; parents Peter and Karoline Konanz; sisters, Annie, Elizabeth, Mary, brothers, Adam, Joe, John, Cosmos, Max, George, and Edward. Evelyn is survived by her children: Brian and Sandra (Danny) Goldsney and her two grandchildren: Shawna (Jason) and Curtis (Jessica) all of Regina. Also left to remember her is her brother Peter, and her sisters: Margaret Horak of Lethbridge Alta, Josephine (Ewald) Schramm of Balgonie and Clara (George) Vollman of Regina as well as sisters-in law Ann of Nipawin and Shirley of Balgonie. Evelyn was a long time resident of Balgonie before moving to Regina in 1996 to live with her daughter and family. She loved to cook and welcomed her childrens friends, and family members on Sundays in Balgonie. There was always room for one more she said many times! She enjoyed living next door to the Elementary School in Balgonie where she felt needed and respected by the staff and students. She was always near-by to help out the staff and students anyway she could. She developed many long-term friendships from these favors. Evelyn loved and related to all ages and was called "MOM and "GRANDMA by her childrens and grandchildrens friends. She had a great sense of humor that would even come through on her final days.
