Obituary of Gregory Lyndon Blauth/Poorman

BLAUTH - POORMAN - Greg Lyndon (Jersey) passed away accidentally in Calgary AB on May 12, 2005 at the age of 37 years. He is predeceased by his biological father Joseph Poorman (Sonny) and grandparents Alex and Elsie Poorman, his grandparents Gordon and Lillian Agecoutay and his great-grandparents James and Elizabeth Tuckanow. Greg leaves to mourn his parents Sandy and Edgar Starr and his brothers Vince, Hugh, Reynold (Sonia), Trevor, Gilbert (Bubba). Greg also considered his cousins as sisters, Monica, Nicole and Colleen and adopted sister Simone. His grandparents Mike and Isabell Assoon, and Norman Lafontaine. He also leaves behind his sons Greg Jr. of Bloomfield, New Jersey, Josh and Joe of Kawacatoose First Nation. Greg also leaves to mourn his special nephews and nieces; Vincent, Derek, Merna Hastings, Cierra, Serena, Raylene, Treanna, Brody, Reynald, Brendon and Sam. Also very numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces, and friends. Greg was employed by Loewen Sheet Metal and contracted to do a job in Calgary AB as a certified sheet metal and iron worker and Journeyman draftsman. He leaves to mourn his 12 co-workers. He also was a certified chef. A wake will be held on Monday May 16, 2005 in the Whitecalf Gym (Lebret) at 4:00 p.m. Sister Bernadette Feist OSU officiating. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2005 in Sacred Heart RC Church, Lebret at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart cemetery (Lebret). The family would like to thank Kawacatoose First Nations, Ted Loewen, Donna and Doug Machiskinic, Walter Assoon, Mildred Bellegarde, Edith and Cathy Morgan, Starla Starblanket, Raynie Tuckanow for their support and assistance on the route to Calgary.
