Obituary of Hermine Marie Sauer

SAUER - Hermine Marie (Minnie). It is with sadness that we announce the death of our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. She was born on July 1, 1908 in the Balgonie District and passed away at QuAppelle House on May 16, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Frank; her parents, Rudolph and Matilda Meier; brothers, Albert, Fred, Adolph and Herman; and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Minnie leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her son Ray and his daughter Tammy of Calgary; her daughter Joyce (Bob) Kress and their sons Darrell (Tracy) and their daughters Stephanie, Ashley and Samantha; and Brent and his daughter Amber of Saskatoon; her sister Carolyn Mang; sisters-in-law Josephine Meier and Eva Meier; as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 19, 2005 from 7 - 9 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 20, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina with Rev. Lindsay Hognestad officiating. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to QuAppelle House, 1425 College Avenue, Regina S4P 1B4 or to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina S4P 1P7.
