Obituary of Tauno Kuski
KUSKI, Tauno (Fats/Fatty) passed away suddenly on June 3, 2005 at the age of 88 years. He was born in Regina, SK. on February 4, 1917; a son to Johann and Amanda Kuski who immigrated to Regina from Finland in 1913. He was a brother to John, Lauri, Helmi, Eino, Tarmo (Grapes), Aina and Laila. He is survived by his sister Helmi of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; sisters-in-law Frankie Kuski and Betty Kuski, both of Regina; a daughter Danique of Regina and numerous nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren. Fatty was a lifelong employee of the Canadian National Railway, as were his four brothers. He certainly had a zest for life, he worked hard and he played hard! There is no doubt that he was a true character, larger than life and full of stories of the past that would make your hair curl. His theme song might well have been ... "I DID IT MY WAY.
