Obituary of Regina Jean Schmidt

SCHMIDT - On Wednesday, June 8, 2005, Regina "Jean Schmidt, late of Regina, passed away at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Roy in 1971; daughter Eileen in 1976; son Edward in 1976, Jean is survived by five sons: Michael (Shirley) of Regina, Gordon (Sharon) of B.C., Ray of Regina, Gerald (Rosemarie) of Regina, Gary (Cathy) of Regina; one daughter Sheri (Jim) Woytuik of Regina; one sister Melanie Flaman of Regina; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Jean belonged to the Catholic Womens League and the Franciscans. She volunteered at Pioneer Village, Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home and numerous charities throughout Regina. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in Little Flower R. C. Church, 420 College Avenue with Rev. Bill Mahoney presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
