Obituary of Lily Burge
BURGE - Lil passed away peacefully on June 10, 2005 at the Pasqua Hospital. Born in Saskatoon in 1933, she was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Smith. She leaves behind daughter Sue of Minot and son Bill of Regina, their father Jim of Weyburn, sisters Agnes Pittman of Weyburn and Bea Thomas of High River, Alberta, as well as numerous family and friends. She grew up in Weyburn and spent the last twenty years in Regina. She enjoyed meeting people and particularly enjoyed her years working at the RCMP Resource Center at Depot. In retirement she took great pleasure in spending her summers at the lake, walking on the golf course, looking after her flowers and spending time with her friends. A memorial service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, on Tuesday, June 14 at 1:30 p.m. Sue and Bill will be pleased to welcome any of Mom's friends after 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 13 at 1128 Gryphons Walk.
