Obituary of Albert Anton Wenarchuk

WENARCHUK - On June 17, 2005, Albert Anton Wenarchuk passed away after a brief illness at the age of 66. He is predeceased by his father Steve Wenarchuk and sister Anne Donahue. Al is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Gerry, two daughters Patty (Greg) Gianoli, Janice of Calgary, two sons Rob (Deb) of Calgary, and Dave (Heather). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Derek, Steven and Christina Gianoli and Tynan, Matthew and Emily Wenarchuk. He is also survived by his mother Elizabeth and brother Bill (Linda), brothers-in-law Austin Donahue, Atikoken, Ontario, Walter (Nat) Shevernoha, Ituna, and various nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and golfing and spending time at Good Spirit Lake with his family and friends. His grandchildren will miss their Dido taking them for golf cart rides and treating them to ice cream. Prayers are on Monday, June 20th, 2005 at 7:00 pm at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 55 McMurchy Ave., Regina, SK. Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, June 21st, 2005 at 10:00 am at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church with Rev. Leonard Romanow celebrant. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made on Als behalf to the Childrens Wish Foundation, Box 309, Saskatoon, SK S7K 3L3 or the Ostomy and Wound Care Education Fund c/o the Pasqua Hospital.
