Obituary of William Maurice Pelletier
PELLETIER - WILLIAM MAURICE (BILL)
NOVEMBER 17, 1927 - JULY 16, 2005
Bill passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Saturday, July 16, 2005 in the company of his loving son, Glenn and loyal and faithful canine companion, Bandit. Loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone he met, Bill Pelletier is predeceased by his father Henry Peltier; and mother Lucy (Russell) Peltier, brothers: Jim, Peter and John; sisters: Wilma, Mary, Violet (in infancy), Josephine and Olive; wife Helen (nee Strand); wife Frances (nee Senga/Calbie); daughter-in-law, Sharon Carrier; son, Dale and daughter, Shelly. Bill is also predeceased by many other extended family members. Bill will be lovingly and forever missed by his sisters, Rhoda Amyotte and Jean Jardine, sisters-in-law Kaye Pelletier and Jennie Williams, daughters Betty (John) Hanna and Bev Cardinal, son Glenn Pelletier and faithful buddy, Bandit. Bill is also survived by his wonderful grandchildren: Rhyse Cardinal, Shana Cardinal, Damian Pelletier (Jane Ash), Amber Pelletier, David Hanna, Sarah (Brian) Sebastian, Michael, Ryan and Joel Hanna, and three great-grandchildren: Evan and Emily Sebastian and Khemissa Cardinal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Bills circles of friends were enormous and he will be fondly remembered by many from Regina and across Canada. Bill lived life fully and well. A visitation for family and friends will be held tonight, Monday, July 18 from 5:00-6:00 pm and at his request, a simple service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 2:30 pm - both at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Pastor Frank Armistead officiating. Interment will be at Regina Memorial Gardens. Flowers are most gratefully declined. Donations may be made to either AA-Alcoholics Anonymous, 1812 Arthur Street, Regina, S4T 4W7 or to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina, S4P 3G7 or a charity of your choice.
