Obituary of Henry Miller Neely
NEELY-Henry Miller, with sadness, we announce the passing of Henry on July 19, 2005 at the age of 85. Henry was born on August 18, 1919 in the Lemburg area and farmed many years on the family farm. He served in the Air Force during World War II. Following the War, he and his family continued farming. He then began his employment with the Government of Canada. This employment took the family to many communities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, retiring in Regina. Henry married Gladys Parkinson in 1941 and they had two children. He enjoyed curling and spent many volunteer hours working with Veterans. Henry was predeceased by his parents; three sisters; his son Warde, in 2003. He is survived by his wife Gladys; his daughter Cathy (Jim) Lind and grandsons Kyle and Brandon, of Virginia U.S.A. and by his granddaughter Lorrie, and great granddaughter Kolina Swidnicki of Manitoba. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset United Church, 177 Sunset Drive, Regina. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
