Obituary of Silas Alfred Molloy
MOLLOY, Silas Alfred "Fred passed away Monday, July 25, 2005 at the age of 89 with Kay, his wife of 56 years, by his side. Fred is survived by his eight children: Margaret, Willie, Michael, Helen, Tom, Larry, Sheila, and Theresa; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Born in Regina, Fred has always attended Holy Rosary Cathedral. He served overseas in World War II. When he returned to Regina he became known to many as "the plumber. Fred continued to work once a week at the "Y until he was 84. Besides his career as a plumber, Fred loved to spend his summers at Saskatchewan Beach. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 28th at Holy Rosary Cathedral, 3125 - 13th Avenue with Rev. Louis Kubash, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers the family wishes to set up a scholarship fund for the training of future trades persons at S.I.A.S.T. Condolences to the family may be emailed to reception@speersfuneralchapel.com
