Obituary of Ella Ina Baum

BAUM - Ella Ina (Schindel) passed away on August 12, 2005 in her 91st year. She was a resident of the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home for the past seven months. Thanks you to the staff at Santa Maria for her care. She was born in Planetzen, Latvia on June 2, 1914. Ina was predeceased by her parents; her first husband who was killed in action in WW II; her second husband, Henry Baum in 1987; three half brothers, two half sisters; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son John (Dorothy) grandchildren Jason and Lindsey of Regina; one daughter Bernadette (Vincent) Leaker of Saskatoon; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ina immigrated to Canada with her mother in 1950 and settled in Swift Current. In 1952 she married Henry Baum. They moved to Regina in 1967. Visitation will be held at Speers on Monday, August 15, 2005, at 7:00p.m. Memorial service to be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave., Regina at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2005. Pastor Glen Stever officiating.
