Obituary of John Allan Lyon

LYON - John Allan (Al) passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2005 at the age of 70. Al will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Delores; son Pat (Michelle) Lyon; daughter Janine (Dale) Orban; daughter Kerry (Ron) Weir; his three grandchildren, Jennifer Lyon, Jacqueline Orban and Trevor Weir; mother Marion Hofley; brother Fred Lyon, and many friends. Al was a police officer with the Regina Police Service for twenty-nine years and enjoyed twenty years in retirement. Al was a kind and caring man, and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, reminiscing, love of fishing, golfing and the outdoors. At Als request, there will be no service. A come and go celebration of his life will be held at the home of Al and Delores on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 between 2 and 4:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
