Obituary of Irene Elsie Ziegler

ZIEGLER, Irene Elsa (nee Tease) - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Irene on September 1, 2005. She was predeceased by her parents Gustav and Phyllis and brother-in-law Bill Johner. Irene leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 55 years, James; her children: Darlene (Ralph) Munchinsky, Barry (Sherry) Ziegler, Murray (Katy) Ziegler, Delores Gottselig (Brian Senft), Lori (Jim) Masson and Beverly (Kelly) DeDecker; her grandchildren: Carrie (Darren), Janis (Gabe), Bradley, Ronnie, Logan, Kelly, Brittany, Lindsey, Scott, Jodi, Devin, Stephanie, Kelsey, Jenell, Travis and Kyle; and 2 great grandchildren, Matthew and Taylor. She is also survived by her brothers: Albert (Daisy) Tease, Fred (Vi) Tease and sisters: Bernice Tees, Evelyn Johner and Lillian (Charlie) Kee and numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was born in Markinch, Sask. and later moved to Serath. She moved to Regina in 1947 where she met and married James. Irene enjoyed flower gardening, reading, games and family activities. Her grandchildren brought her much pleasure. The funeral service will be held at Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Ave. on Thursday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Art Vandenriessche, Celebrant. Interment will be held at a later date in Francis, Sask. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice.
