Obituary of Lorri Kim Taylor
TAYLOR, Lorri Kim passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital on September 9, 2005 at the age of 45. Lorri was predeceased by her father Ernest Taylor and her sister June Karen Taylor and is survived by her mother Gladys June Taylor, sister Bonnie Knox and her husband John and sons John and Girard and daughter Erin and sister Penny Paterson and husband George and sons Jordan, Leif and Cole. Lorri grew up in Bengough, Sask. and attended school in Assiniboia. She later resided in Moose Jaw before moving to Regina nine years ago. Lorri especially enjoyed spending time with her family at Deifenbaker Lake at the resort village of Mistusinne near Elbow, Sask. Lorri faced many health challenges over the past several years and Lorris family want to express profound appreciation to the nurses and doctors in the Renal Unit and Unit 6F at the Regina General Hospital. Lorri spent the last eight years in the loving care of caregivers Kathy and Ken Ursulane. She enjoyed her work and many friends at the Cosmopolitan Learning Centre where her sunny personality was nourished and thrived. Lorri would want mention to be made of her special friend and companion Raymond along with her very good friends Dawn and Doreen. Lorris Aunt Helen and cousin Lillian provided Lorri wonderful support and friendship during her past several years residing in Regina. A funeral service will be held in Regina at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Desmond Patton officiating. A second funeral service will be held in Elbow, Sask. at the Elbow United Church on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Greg Grace officiating. Interment in Elbow Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Cosmopolitan Learning Centre, 810 Edgar Street, Regina, Sask. S4N 3H9.
