HELEN HIEBERT
February 12, 1927 - April 20, 2012
The family of Helen Hiebert (nee Loeppky) is deeply saddened to announce her passing on Friday, April 20, 2012. She was 85 years old. Helen is survived by her loving sons Dennis Hiebert (Sharon) and Dwayne Hiebert (Bernice). She also leaves three granddaughters, Lynnanne Hiebert, Laurell Weinmeyer (Michael), and Laine Hiebert, who will miss their "Grandma H" immensely. Helen was the youngest of seven children. She was predeceased by all of her siblings and her husband, John Hiebert, who passed away on September 25, 1991. Mum was a loving and kind, wise and happy woman. She was very independent and proud that she was still able to live alone in her own home until her final days. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and was known for the wonderful family dinners she prepared. She had a unique way of making
her family members feel special and loved, visiting with the many friends she'd made over the years. She always looked forward to having relatives stop by for tea when they were in Regina. Helen spent many years as a volunteer at Lakeview United Church and canvassing for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She generously donated to the Blue Mantle in Regina as well. At Mum's request, there will not be a funeral service. Her cremated remains will be laid to rest in Niverville Manitoba at a future date. Helen's family would like to thank those who have offered kind words and expressed their condolences. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made,in Helen's memory, to a charity of your choice.
