Obituary of Glen Elroy Linton
LINTON, Glen Elroy - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather on Sunday, September 18, 2005 at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Vesta Bosley in 1997; stepsister Fern in 1918; infant son in 1948; his parents, Nathan Alonzo (Lonnie) in 1934 and Anna Theresa (Dockhorn) in 1966; granddaughter Lana Jean McLeod in 1964, son-in-law, Gordon McLeod in 1993, brother Cecil Alonzo in 1999; and sister Mildred Irene McNirney in 2004; his in-laws, Roy and Bina Bosley, John Bosley, Van Bosley, Audon and Vern Larsen, Elbert and Vivian Cottingham, Gerald (Buck) and Eunice Bosley, and Fred Anderson; nephews, Terry Bosley and Rodney Cottingham; and a niece Joy McNally. Glen is survived by his eight children: Shirley, (Clint) Andrews of Weyburn, Harvey (Myra) Linton of Saskatoon, Gloria (Ernest) Kesslering of Milestone; Elroy (Pat) Linton of Prince Albert, Glenda McLeod of Tribune, Glen Jr. (Joyce) Linton of Chaplin, Gail (Ed) Nistor of Lacombe, Garnet (Vicki) Linton of Regina; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson: Shayne (Jill) Stefan, Jayne and Stuart Andrews of Saskatoon, Trevor (Shannon) Kayla, Cherise and Alicia Andrews of Tisdale, Troy (Cindy) Cheyane, Crystal, Tiara and Tyson Andrews of Weyburn, Curtis (Kelly) Linton and Mykah Pattison of Calgary, Deb (Ken Hnatiuk) and T.J. of Regina, Tony Kesslering of Canmore, Angie Eisenkirch (Russ), Tara (Mitchell Hanson) and Braydon, Jeffery Eisenkirch, Lonnie Kesslering (Stacey), Nathan Kesslering, all of Regina. Twyla (John) Jared and Randy Gola, of Prince Albert, Les (Carol), Cody and Briana Linton of Meadow Lake, Lance McLeod of Calgary, Kevin (Laurie Bell), James McLeod, Ajay and Ashley Bell of Colgate, Lori McLeod of Regina, Scott Linton (Amy Lasher), Denise (Gerald) Ethan and Mathew Perry, all of Drayton Valley; Jackie Linton of Saskatoon, Shannon Linton and Sherry Linton, both of Regina; sisters-in-law, Gladys Bosley and Stella Bosley; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada and U.S.A. A special thank you to Sunset Extendicare, West Wing and Dr. O. Rasmussen for their care of Glen. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
