Obituary of Walter Gogel

GOGEL - On Monday, September 19, 2005, Walter Gogel (83 years) went to be with his Lord Jesus and to greet his son, Lorne. His loving wife of 54 years, Hertha, was at his side. He leaves to celebrate his life, Hertha, his wife; daughter, Ruth (Larry) LeBlanc of Calgary; grandsons, Sean Paul of Calgary, Evan Edward of Halifax; daughter-in-law, Glenys Gogel of Regina; grandson, Nathan Lorne; brothers, Reinhold (Isabel), David (Joan), Albert, Gary (Connie); sisters, Mary (Ed) Tiede, Lillian Gogel, Rose (Lloyd) Michie; sisters-in-law, Irma and Daphne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, especially Dustin Gogel and Mark Michie. Walter was predeceased by his son Lorne, his parents, David and Olga Gogel and brothers, John, Herbert, Joe and Siegfred. Special thanks to the staff at Sunset Extendicare, West Wing for their care and attention during the last 1 years. A service honouring Walters life will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in Faith Baptist Church, 437 Broadway Avenue East with Rev. John Barkman officiating. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in memoriam, to the Gideon Bibles or the Voice of Hope Mission (spreading the gospel in the former Soviet Union), P.O.
