Obituary of Margaret Greenman
Greenman,Margaret (nee Bradley)
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Margaret at her home in Salmon Arm, B.C. on September 6, 2005. Although she was only in Salmon Arm a short while, she thoroughly enjoyed being near her grandchildren. She was born in Vancouver on February 3, 1916 and later moved with her family to the Belle Plain area. She married Dean in 1950 where they raised their daughters in Regina. She worked at the Regina Leader Post for 22 years until her retirement. She was still active with her bowling, golfing and knitting. While in Salmon Arm she had started to sing for her fellow residents which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was predeceased by her husband Dean (1992), her parents Frank and Kate Bradley and her sister Kay Walker. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Deana (Cal) of Salmon Arm, BC and Cathy (Terry) of Langley, BC, her grandchildren Heather, Jessica, Brendan and Natalie, her sister Anne Fleming of Coquitlam, BC, brother-in-law Herb (Aggie) Greenman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. A memorial service will be held in her honor at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, Sept 24, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. A Tea will follow at Wascana Family and Community Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street (2 doors north of Speers). Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. An on-line book of condolence may be signed at www.speersfuneralchapel.com
