Obituary of Mary Evangeline Ward

WARD_ Rev. Mary Evangeline (Eva) Ward who was born in Grenfell, SK passed away, September 21, 2005, into the presence of her Lord at The Shepherd Lodge in Toronto, Ontario two days following her 94th birthday and following a lengthy illness of 14 years. Predeceased by her parents: Tom and Ida Ward, four brothers Lewis, Bill, Jim and Les, and twin girls Sarah and Florence who died in infancy. Eva leaves to celebrate her life, her sister Emily Wadge of Toronto, ON and sister-in-law Veronica (Les) Ward of Calgary, AB. Eva is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews from Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. A special thank you to her niece Claire McKay, who cared for Eva so faithfully before Eva relocated to Toronto, ON. Eva ministered in many places from 1936 to 1988, lastly at the Regina Apostolic Church as Visitation Minister for twelve and a half years. A Celebration Service will be held in Eva's memory at the Regina Apostolic Church (808 Assiniboine Ave E) Saturday, October 1st at 1:30pm with viewing at 1pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Eva Ward to the Regina Apostolic Church.
