Obituary of Thomas John Mann

MANN - It is with deepest sadness and grief that Debra and family announce the passing of Thomas John Mann of Regina on Thursday, October 6, 2005. He is at peace with no more suffering. He leaves to mourn Debra, his beloved wife and best friend, and their two beloved cats, Pyramid and Egypt. He will be cherished and loved in her heart and theirs forever. He leaves, whom he loved deeply, with deep sadness and grief to mourn, Linda and Tom Boyle of Gimli, MB and their children Jenny (Kevin) and family, Erin, and Mandi (Rich) and family. He also leaves to mourn his mother, whom he cherished and loved, Rose Mann; his brothers Ralph and Ross and their families of Strathroy, ON. He also leaves to mourn his children Jennifer Smit and family of London, ON, Jason Mann and family of Sarnia, ON , Tinsa and family, and Jeremy of Edmonton, AB. Tom always left a lasting impression on all who met or knew him. He was a gentle man, a loving husband and companion. Toms passion for car racing, especially Nascar, brought out his rebel side and joy that he and Debra shared. He was a nature lover, especially gardening - he loved his lilies. He had a kind and loving heart towards Gods creatures and mankind. Debra would like to thank the staff of the Pasqua and General Hospital, medical personnel and Regina Police Service for assisting her during this trying time. Special thanks also to Dr. Sharman and Dr. McHattie for past medical assistance for Tom. A Funeral Service will take place in Toms home town of Strathroy, Ontario where he will be laid to rest beside his father, Ted Mann. He would want all who read this to remember to live each day to the fullest. It is hard, but try, and that he did. A private memorial will be held by Debra and family at a later date. An on-line book of condolence may be signed at www.speersfuneralchapel.com Carry on my own true love, Youll be at peace when you are gone, Lay your weary head to rest, Dont you cry no more. Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind. I will always, as we did in life, I will also in death, Tom, love and walk beside you.
