Obituary of Michael James Thompson

THOMPSON, Michael James It is with deepest sadness that we must announce the passing of a husband, father and grandfather. Michael lost his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66 years on October 11, 2005. He leaves to mourn his wife, Gloria; daughter, Debbie (Lee), Colton and Kelsey; son, Duane (Cathy), Kylee and Kolby; mother, Olive; father, Harvey; brother, John; and sister, Janet (Jim) and families. Carpentry, woodworking, reading and his grandchildren were Mikes passions. He will be missed greatly by his family. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at the Balgonie Multiplex on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in Balgonie, Saskatchewan. Interment services to follow at the Balgonie Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. Salgado for his care and attention during Mikes short illness. Also a special thank you to the Palliative Care Team.
