Obituary of Beatrice Frederickson

Beatrice Frederickson (née Haskey) March 21, 1934 - May 28, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Beatrice Frederickson of Regina. Bea passed away at age 79 at her favourite place; her cabin at Fishing Lake. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Al in 2011; her parents, George and Pauline Haskey; sisters, Margaret and Bernice; and brother Elgin George. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Rhonda Nelson (George) and Carla (Ed) Desnoyers; grandchildren, Robin Williams (John and Elizabeth), Jason (Summer) Frederickson, Quinn Nelson, Brittney Desnoyers (Rod) and Madison Desnoyers. Bea was born in Elfros, SK March 21, 1934, the second oldest of six children. Bea married Al Frederickson June 29th, 1952 and her and Al enjoyed many years at Fishing Lake in the summer and were snowbirds for 21 years travelling to Weslaco Texas in the winters. Baba was a meticulous cook, baker and gardener. Bea enjoyed many crafts and could knit, crochet, Swedish weave and paint. Bea will be remembered by her extreme work ethic, love for her family and friends and enjoying every minute of her life. A Service to Celebrate Bea’s Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Balfour officiating.
