Obituary of John Norman Boldt

JOHN NORMAN BOLDT December 5, 1935 - June 17, 2013 John passed away peacefully, with family by his side on Monday, June 17, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Twylla; and four daughters, Marsha (Dallas) Kessler, Leila (Lorne) McClarty, Sharolyn (Ryan) Bohn and Terrie (Mike) Unger; ten grandchildren: Steven, Laura and Trent Kessler; Brandon, Meghan and Evan McClarty; Dreyton and Jayla Bohn; and Matthew and Jack Unger; brothers, Frank (Ann) Boldt, Lorne (Carol) Boldt; sister Marion (Gordon) Radmacher; brothers-in-law Arnold Foerster, Lynn (Eleanor) Foerster; sisters-in-law Careen (Richard) Schamber, Marla (Rick) Kikel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John’s 60 years of farming started when he took responsibility for the family farm at an early age. He enjoyed a successful farming career around Trossachs, SK with his wife Twylla and four daughters. John had the patience to fix anything, physical strength and natural farming wisdom. He was very partial to his IH equipment and Ford vehicles. John enjoyed a cold Coke Classic, a good chocolate bar, country music and rodeos. Visits from grandchildren, card games with friends and farming conversations over a cup of coffee and goodies, made his day.
