RUDOLPH “RUDY” DESZU VARGA September 25, 1928 - June 16, 2013 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Rudy was born in Yorkton, SK and grew up in the Bangor, SK area where the family farmed until he moved to Regina at the age of 20. Rudy worked as a butcher for 40-plus years for Burns, Intercon and ended his working career with Frank’s Meats in 1993. He had a great love of sports, especially the Leafs, Blue Jays and Riders. Rudy also loved to watch his grandchildren at any of their sporting events. He was predeceased by his parents, Kalman and Erma; brothers, Joe, Tony and Kalman; and sister Violet. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Margaret; sons, Brian (Brenda) of Medicine Hat, AB and Brad (Connie) of Regina; grandchildren, Dakota, Dustin (Jolene), Bobbie (Mike), Hunter and Ryder; brother Jim of Bangor; sister Elsie of Yorkton; five great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
