JIM HONG TAO HOM July 30, 1922 April 27, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jim Hong Tao Hom, on Friday, April 27, 2012 surrounded by family. He will be forever remembered and cherished by his wife of 72 years, Mea Sun Tuey Hom; children Martha (Harry) Jong of Denver, Magdalen (Joe) Dang of Regina, Tom (Anne) Hom of Regina, Theresa (Bill) Yee of Langley, Steve (Sue-Lynn) Hom of Regina and Grace (Brad) Tilling of Regina; grandchildren Agnes (Jason) Wilbur, Lana Jong, Stella (Paul) Callahan, Jerome (Teresa) Jong, Angela (Roman) Krawetz, Chester Dang, Tim Hom, Aimy (Jason) Bazylak, Tracie Yee, Jonathan (Sarah Jane) Yee, Shina, James and Michael Hom, Nol and Christopher Tilling; great-grandchildren David and Sophia Yee, Alexander Callahan, Julia Wilbur and Frank Bazylak. The family would like to thank Dr. C. Zagozeski and the medical personnel at the Regina General Hospital. Prayer Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Jims Life Funeral Mass will be held at St. Annes R.C. Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina, SK on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
