My condolences to Kathryn's family. I was away at the time of the funeral and wish I could have been there to support you at this time. Kathryn was one of my best friends at AAFC. She worked with me on initiatives at work and outside of work where she brought her wonderful enthusiasm and creativity to the fore. I will miss you Kathryn you were a very bright light in my life.

Deepest sympathy to the Bardutz Family.
I first met Kathryn and Pat in 1977 on a tour of Europe and have wonderful memeories of that time. I came to Canada in 79 and Kathryn came to Vancouver to say hi.
She was always bright, a wonderful smile and great sense of humour.
I received an email from Kathryn just a month ago and this morning from Harvey breaking the sad news. Love from your Aussie Friend Kim RIP

Dear Uncle Bill and Aunt Edith,
I was so saddened to read of your loss of your daughter Kathryn, -also my cousin. No parent likes to outlive their children and I am sure the two of you are heart broken..
I both feel your loss knowing what you are going through and I also feel loss at not knowing Kathryn. It seems a bloody shame that we as cousins live in Regina yet do not know each other because of our dysfunctional family. I am making sure my children know all their cousins and visit regularly. You are both in my prayers.
Jim

Very sad to hear about Kathryn's passing. I met Kathryn through work (at Agriculture Canada). Although I did not know her well, what I did know was she was a great person. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends

My deepest condolences to all family and friends. I went to Miller High with Kathy and considered her a friend. We encountered a few times since and she was the same effervescent personality she was back then. Gone too soon.

I was very saddened to read about Kathryn today. I worked at Ag Canada and although I only dealt with her a few times, she was always so pleasant, helpful and just seemed like a happy person and was always smiling. I'm glad that I met her, even if only a few times. My thoughts are with the family.

I think that some of Kathryn's happiest times were having big family meals, like at Christmas or Easter or someone's birthday. She was a great cook and loved having her family all together.
