Obituary of Frieda Christine Schaffer

FRIEDA CHRISTINE SCHAFFER November 26, 1922 - July 8, 2013 Frieda passed away peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 2006; her parents, John and Regina Butz; two brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are her three children, Gerry Whippler of Redmond, WA, Wayne (Sher) of North Vancouver, BC and Daryl (Brenda) of Regina; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters, Doreen of Kelowna, BC and Hilda of Regina; three sisters-in-law, Mary Hackbart of Waterloo, ON, Sophie Schaffer of Southey and Irene Butz of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Avenue, Regina on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam, may be made to Grace Lutheran Memorial Fund, 1037 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 0N6.
