Obituary of Marilyn Margaret Hanson

MARILYN MARGARET HANSON

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Margaret Hanson (nee Hart) of Fillmore, SK on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the age of 68. Marilyn passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Myelofibrosis. She was predeceased by her father, Gordon Hart. Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Terry; son Kerry; daughter Angela (Don) Lubiens and their children Travis, Bria, Ben and Calli; daughter Karla (Patrick Zanzen) and daughter Brooke; son Corey and his daughter Alexis all of Fillmore. She is also survived by her mother Clara Hart of Prince George, BC; brother Eldon Hart and family of Regina, SK; sister Valerie Hart (Reid) and family of Prince George BC; along with many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was born in Regina, SK on October 1, 1944. She spent the majority of her life in the Fillmore area. Marilyn took training as a Lab and X-ray Technician, a profession she dedicated her life to until shortly before her passing. Marilyn loved spending time with her six grandchildren and always had baking ready for them or other visitors. She took great pleasure in her beautiful yard, flowerbeds and garden.
