Obituary of Thelma Elizabeth Kirkman

Thelma passed away peacefully with her daughter and grandson, Douglas, at her side on Saturday July 13, 2013, at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Malcolm ‘Kirk’ in 1994; parents James and Hazel; brother and sisters, Arthur, Vera, Phoebe and Rhoda, Thelma is survived by her loving children: Diana (Ralph) Ermel and Doug (Sue); cherished grandchildren: Rob (Andrea Rounce), Doug, Jordana Kirkman (Jeff Blades) Kirsten (Myles) Boyce, and Heather Kirkman (Brady MacDonald); great-grandchildren, Jacob, Abigale, Madelynn, Emma, Ellana and Malcolm; sisters Audrey Frederick and Rita Herbert. Memorial Service will be held at the R.C.M.P. Chapel on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain D. Allan Higgs presiding. Interment in RCMP Cemetery. The family wishes to thank those staff on Level 2 at Santa Maria who loved and cared for Thelma during the last five years of her life.
