Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Sutherland

Betty passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Regina General Hospital after a brief illness. Predeceased by her parents and brother Bill, she is survived by her sister Dorothy Dillabough; nephew Ron (Deborah) Dillabough; and niece Debbie (Bill) Wise, all of Kelowna, BC. Betty loved children and decided to make her career as a teacher. After graduating from Normal School in Regina, Betty taught in a number of towns and school districts throughout southern Saskatchewan. During this time she also earned a degree from the University of Saskatchewan. After retiring, she developed a strong interest in genealogy and spent a great deal of her time helping many families to trace their family trees. Thank you to the staff of Kennedy Manor for their thoughtful care. Special thanks and gratitude to Tom and Sharon Turnbull for all their support and assistance over the past few years.
