Obituary of Mervyn Arthur Huckerby

MERVYN ARTHUR HUCKERBY On Tuesday, July 30, 2013, Merv peacefully slipped away, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Katie Ann Huckerby. Merv leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife Lois; children Jim of Regina, Erin (Tracey) Fetter of Stony Plain and Jan (Garnet) Porten of Spruce Grove. Remembering a caring and kind grandpa are: Rebecca (Kevin) Schultz of Regina, Dan (Jenn) Huckerby of Regina, KatieAnn and Cameron Fetter of Stony Plain, Mitchell (Jayme) Lazorko and Lyndsay Lazorko of Regina; as well as his adoring great-grandchildren Kyla, Grace, Lizzie, Sophie, Georgia and Jack who were lights in his life. He is remembered by his sister-in-law Eileen Dolman and her children, Reg (Gail), and Jacki (Ed Allin) of Moose Jaw SK. Funeral Service will be held at the Orr Centre, located at the Northwest corner of Lewvan Drive and 4th Avenue, on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. A heartfelt thank you to a caring emergency staff of both hospitals. Flowers gratefully declined.
