Obituary of Elaine Copeman

Elaine lost her second, hard-fought battle against cancer on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at home with her children. She was predeceased by her husband Edward; parents Hazel (nee Lefebre) and Michael Makowski; and grandson Kordel. Left to honour her memory is her daughter Lori; son Larry; and grandson Kayne; as well as beloved aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. An only child, Elaine’s friends were like family to her, and she had many that were there for her during her illness. The family is extremely grateful for the care and compassion provided by the staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic and Pasqua Palliative Home Care, especially Dr. Zarkovic, Barb Hale and Melinda Van Hove.
