Obituary of Mary Chornomaz

MARY CHORNOMAZ (nee Lysuik) August 28, 1915 – August 29, 2013 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Chornomaz, on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by her husband Walter; two sons-in-law, Dan and Paul; her parents, Nicholas and Agata; two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Deloris and Vickie; two sons, Bill (Roberta) and John; three grandchildren, Darrell (Leona), Joe (Joan) and Brenda (Mike); five great-grandchildren, Scott, Jamie (Marc), Jason, Brendan and Joshua; two great-great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Denie; two sisters, Lena and Francis (Frank); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto Street, Regina, SK on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Kamsack Cemetery.
