Obituary of Pauline Zech

PAULINE ZECH (Glasser) August 20, 1919 - August 31, 2013 Pauline passed away peacefully at Sunset Extendicare Nursing Home on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Zech; mother and father Mary and Dan Glasser; brothers, Lucas, Red, Sully and Ed; sisters, Kay Leibham and Clem Deck; sisters-in-law, Nita Glasser, Theresa Glasser and Carol Glasser; niece Janice Glasser; nephew Sullivan Glasser; and brothers-in-law, Ken Wingert and George Leibham. Pauline is survived by sister Rose of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother Jack; sister-in-law Clo Glasser; brother-in-law Ed Deck; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a favourite aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Her many trips to Calgary and Cincinnati to see them, were very special to her. Special thanks to niece Cathy Glasser for her loving care. Pauline was employed with Eaton’s of Canada in the cosmetic department for 44 years. She was a staunch member of Little Flower Church choir and the Sweet Adeline Barbershop songsters. In her early years Pauline was an enthusiastic bowler and softball player. Special thanks to Silva Care Homes of Regina and Sunset Extendicare. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Interment with her mother in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers most gratefully declined.
