Obituary of Anne Curtis

Anne, late of Bethune, SK, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the age of 96 at Lumsden Heritage Home, where she had resided for the last nine months. She was predeceased by her parents, Herb and Agnes Thompson; her two brothers, Irwin and Clarence; her husband Gilbert; son Phil; and daughter Vera Clow. Anne is survived by her son Ray of Edmonton AB; daughter Sharon (Bob) Lamb of Regina; Yvonne Evans of Bethune; Lois (John) Urquhart of Kingman AB; and daughter-in-law Ivy Wagner of Regina. She was graced with 15 lovely grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and13 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Anne will be sadly missed by her family, and they would like to sincerely thank the staff of Lumsden Heritage Home for the love, support, and wonderful care they gave to our mother. Memorial Service for Anne will be held at Bethune Community Hall, Bethune, SK on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Lumsden Heritage Home, 10 Aspen Bay, Lumsden, SK, S0G 3C0, or a charity of your choice.
