Obituary of Rose Marie Zerff

Rose passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, September 8, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Barbara Pape and her sister Lena Gaiser. Rose is survived by her husband Wilbert; son Trevor (Janice) Zerff; daughter Tracey; and two granddaughters, Amara and Amy. She is also survived by her siblings, John (Annette) Pape, Tony (Anne) Pape, Cathy Piche, Betty (Steve) Nystruik, Mary (Victor) Olivier and David Pape; as well as many nieces and nephews. Rose loved her family, home, her dogs, garden and all the birds, butterflies, and animals that visited. She loved crafts, sewing, gardening, working outside and the Riders (even when they lose). Rose adored her grandchildren and loved being a Gramma. Her wonderful influence on Amy and Amara was her greatest accomplishment. Our family would like to express our gratitude to all of Mom’s caregivers; her needs were extensive and were met with caring professionals at every turn. A Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Koep officiating.
