Obituary of Irene Elizabeth Raedeke

Irene went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the age of 81 years. She was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on June 5, 1932 and grew up on the family farm in the Spring Valley district. In 1956 Irene married Reverend Ronald Raedeke. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years; and her parents Elizabeth and Ewald Filazek. Irene is survived by her daughter Jeannie Stead; four sons, Mike, Mark, Murray and Marvin Raedeke; brother Erwin (Violet); and nine grandchildren. Irene will be remembered for her gift of hospitality and faith in God. A celebration of Irene’s life will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 935 McCarthy Blvd North, Regina on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Regina S4X 3L2 would be much appreciated.
